The Good Samaritan Home opened its doors in June 1942, serving nine men and women, who may not have had another place to call Home because they were identified as “less fortunate.” Our mission remains the same as 75 years ago, we provide one program, one project, one mission, to provide a Home for the less fortunate.
And with community support, we provide low income housing to seniors, veterans, adults with disabilities as well as adults of all ages who may have low, fixed incomes. For 75 years we have endeavored to deliver a sense of hope, safety, stability, security, support and a place to call home for our residents.
